My name is Olga Wieczorek and Kiss the Paper was created with the hopes of turning my passion of letterpress printing into a career. I graduated from OCADU in 2011 from Printmaking where I spent most of my time in the etching and letterpress studios. I knew I had to continue printing upon graduating as it became a part of my being, so in the summer of 2012 I purchased my first press, a Chandler and Price Pilot 6.5×10″, which needed a lot of love and restoration. Once I got it working I began printing greeting cards and coasters, and started showing my work in local craft shows and fairs. Recently I acquired a Chandler and Price 12×18″ Old Style and a 25″ Reliance paper cutter. All of my printing resides in my home out in the country where I have the luxury of beautiful open space which allows me to spend time designing, creating and printing.
